Rachel Alarcio (she/they) is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Milkdromeda Review. Her poetry and prose have appeared in or are forthcoming in Wrongdoing Magazine, Rogue Agent, The Lumiere Review, Exposition Review, at LAX’s Terminal 7-8, and elsewhere. They are a 2019 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Silver Medalist in Short Story and two-time LA Youth Poet Laureate Honorable Mention. She is a Poetry Facilitator at WRITEMIND Org, a non-profit championing accessibility in the literary arts. They are a 2022 Prose Mentor at The Incandescent Review’s Incandescent Summer Studio mentorship program for young writers and spent a year reading on the editorial staff of The Incandescent Review. She also once read for Exposition Review as an editorial intern and once opened for internationally-touring slam poet Caroline Rothstein. They attend Kalamazoo College and reads at Quarterly West.
